Lithium battery PE separator (polypropylene separator) is a functional isolation material inside the battery. It is made of polypropylene as the base material and forms a uniform microporous structure through processes such as biaxial stretching. It can prevent the positive and negative electrodes from direct contact to avoid short circuits, and at the same time provide a channel for lithium ion migration. It features chemical resistance, high mechanical strength (excellent puncture resistance), a melting point of approximately 160℃, and is not prone to shrinkage or deformation at high temperatures. It is often used in combination with PE separators (such as PP/PE double-layer or triple-layer structures) to optimize thermal stability and safety, and is widely applied in fields such as power batteries and energy storage batteries, which is crucial for enhancing battery performance and service life.
