AOT-EQ-STC-PQW split test cell is made of PEEK (Poly Ether Ether Ketone) plastic and designed for R&D of rechargeable battery material. Quartz Window with a 38.1mm Dia. on the top allows the optical microscope head touch window for in-situ analysis of battery electrode microstructure change or dendrite growth during charging and discharging. Such a cell can be used for different kinds of electrodes and separators and test the electrodes easily and quickly.

Cell Material

PEEK (Poly Ether Ether Ketone), which is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures.

Application Notes

For better in-situ observation, electrode material shall face the window.  you may use lab press and dry pressing dies below to prepare an electrode pellet instead of using electrode coated Al or Cu foil.
