New Battery That Can Charge For 800 Kilometers In 10 Minutes

Battery manufacturer SK Innovation announced a few days ago that it has developed a battery that can charge 800 kilometers in 10 minutes.

The company announced the three most important factors for its battery development, including battery fire safety, high-speed charging capability and battery life.SK pointed out that it developed the first lithium-ion battery in 1996 and has been providing batteries for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles for 15 years. There has been no battery fire incident.

In terms of high-speed charging, SK claims that it can achieve 1,000 kilometers of battery life under the best charging conditions, and the long-range battery uses high-density nickel (LiNiMnCoO2 NCM111 Powder). It can adapt to more than 1,000 charge/discharge cycles.

At the same time, the battery can meet the charging capacity of 800 kilometers in 10 minutes.
