Huashun New Energy 60,000-tonne battery anode materials project started
A new recruit was added to the expansion of anode materials.
On December 8, Shanxi Huashun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huashun New Energy) started construction of the lithium battery anode material project with an annual output of 60,000 tons.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of 800 million yuan and a planned area of 130 acres. It will build a pelletizing and coating system, low-temperature carbonization facilities, graphitization purification units, a new type of partition type power transmission system and supporting corresponding environmental protection systems. The second phase will also implement a 6GWh high specific energy lithium battery project with a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it can produce 60,000 tons of anode materials and 6GWh of power lithium batteries annually.
Since the beginning of this year, a round of expansion in the field of lithium battery anode materials is being carried out on a global scale. According to incomplete statistics, the total production capacity of anode materials will exceed 800,000 tons after it is completed and put into production in the next few years.
